Reverencia o Divino Mestre, com todas as forças da alma, entretanto, não menosprezes honrá-lo na pessoa dos semelhantes.
Guarda-lhe as memórias entre flores de carinho, mas estende os braços aos que clamam por ele, entre os espinhos da aflição.
Esculpe-lhe as reminiscências nas obras-primas da estatutária, sem qualquer intuito de idolatria, satisfazendo aos ideais de perfeição que a beleza te arranca aos sonhos de arte, no entanto, socorre, pensando nele, aos que passam diante de ti, retalhados pelo cinzel oculto do sofrimento.
Imagina-lhe o semblante aureolado de amor, ao fixá-lo nas telas em que se te corporifiquem os anseios de luz, mas suaviza o infortúnio dos que esperam por ele, nos quadros vivos da angústia humana.
Proclama-lhe a glória invencível no verbo eloquente, mas deixa que a sinceridade e a brandura te brilhem na boca, serenando, em seu nome, os corações atormentados que duvidam e se perturbam entre as sombras da Terra.
Grava-lhe os ensinamentos inesquecíveis, movimentando a pena que te configura as luminosas inspirações, no entanto, assinala as diretrizes dele com a energia renovadora dos teus próprios exemplos.
Dedica-lhe os cânticos de fidelidade e louvor que te nascem da gratidão, mas ouve os apelos dos que jazem detidos nas trevas, suplicando-lhe liberdade e esperança.
Busca-lhe a presença, no culto da prece, rogando-lhe apoio e consolação, no entanto, oferece-lhe mãos operosas no auxílio aos que varam o escuro labirinto da agonia moral, para os quais essa ou aquela ninharia de tuas facilidades constitui novo estímulo à paciência.
Através de numerosas reencarnações, temos sido cristãos sem Cristo.
Conquistadores, não nos pejávamos de implorar-lhe patrocínio aos excessos do furto.
Latifundiários cruéis, não nos envergonhávamos de solicitar-lhe maior número de escravos que nos atendessem ao despotismo, em clamorosos sistemas de servidão.
Piratas, dobrávamos insensatamente os joelhos para agradecer-lhe a presa fácil.
Guerreiros, impetrávamos dele, em absoluta insanidade, nos inspirasse o melhor modo de oprimir.
Agora que a Doutrina Espírita no-lo revela, por mentor claro e direto da alma, ensinando-nos a responsabilidade de viver, é imperioso saibamos dignificá-lo na própria consciência, acima de demonstrações exteriores, procurando refleti-lo em nós mesmos.
Entretanto, para, que isso aconteça, é preciso, antes de tudo, matricular o raciocínio na escola da caridade, que será sempre a mestra sublime do coração.

Reverence the Divine Master with all the strength of your soul, however, do not despise honoring him in the person of your fellow men.
Keep his memories among flowers of affection, but extend his arms to those who cry out for him, among the thorns of affliction.
Carve his reminiscences into the masterpieces of the statute, without any intention of idolatry, satisfying the ideals of perfection that beauty takes away from your dreams of art; hidden chisel of suffering.
Imagine his haloed face of love, when fixing him on the canvases in which your yearnings of light are embodied, but he softens the misfortune of those who wait for him, in the living pictures of human anguish.
Proclaim his invincible glory in the eloquent verb, but let sincerity and softness shine in your mouth, serenading, in his name, the tormented hearts that doubt and are disturbed among the shadows of the Earth.
Record his unforgettable teachings, moving the pen that configures your luminous inspirations, however, mark his guidelines with the renewing energy of your own examples.
Dedicate to him the songs of fidelity and praise that are born of gratitude, but listen to the appeals of those who lie detained in darkness, begging him for freedom and hope.
Seek his presence, in the cult of prayer, begging him for support and consolation, however, offer him working hands in helping those who go through the dark labyrinth of moral agony, for whom this or that trifle of your facilities constitutes new stimulus to patience.
Through numerous reincarnations, we have been Christians without Christ.
Conquerors, we didn’t shy away from begging him for sponsorship for the excesses of theft.
Cruel landowners, we were not ashamed to ask him for a greater number of slaves to serve us under despotism, in clamorous systems of servitude.
Pirates, we foolishly bent our knees to thank him for easy prey.
Warriors, we pleaded with him, in absolute insanity, to inspire us with the best way to oppress.
Now that the Spiritist Doctrine reveals it to us, by a clear and direct mentor of the soul, teaching us the responsibility of living, it is imperative that we know how to dignify it in our own conscience, above external demonstrations, trying to reflect it in ourselves.
However, for this to happen, it is necessary, first of all, to enroll reasoning in the school of charity, which will always be the sublime teacher of the heart.
