Algumas senhoras da cidade de Campos, Estado do Rio, em visita a Uberaba, conversaram conosco sobre as provas e os problemas da vida terrestre. E acentuávamos, todos, que a incompreensão recíproca cria muitos obstáculos entre nós, espíritos encarnados, para alcançarmos a solução de nossos enigmas, no tocante a sofrimento e regeneração.
Para a despedida fomos à ligeira prece, abrindo antes O Evangelho Segundo o Espiritismo, que nos deu o item 19 do seu capítulo XXIV.
Ficamos reconhecidos à inspiração do texto. E o nosso amigo espiritual Casimiro Cunha nos trouxe a página poética “Senda de Luz”.
Senda de luz
Se você pode escutar
O verbo áspero e vão,
Doando serenidade,
Em forma de reação;
Se anota sem qualquer mágoa,
Lamentações hora a hora,
Entendendo e desculpando
As aflições de quem chora;
Se entrega pontos de vista,
No que deseja ou que pensa,
Olvidando no caminho,
Qualquer espécie de ofensa;
Se acolhe a sombra da injúria
Que a estrada lhe desmerece,
Ofertando por resposta,
O benefício da prece;
Se acaso registra o mal
Rondando ou ferindo alguém,
E silencia amparando
A força viva do bem;
Se aceita o próprio dever
Por luz que a vida lhe aponta,
Trabalhando e abençoando,
A servir sem fazer conta…

Some ladies from the city of Campos, State of Rio, on a visit to Uberaba, talked with us about the trials and problems of terrestrial life. And we all stressed that mutual misunderstanding creates many obstacles among us, incarnated spirits, to reach the solution of our enigmas, with regard to suffering and regeneration.
For the farewell, we went to a light prayer, opening beforehand The Gospel According to Spiritism, which gave us item 19 of its XXIV chapter.

if you can listen
The rough and vain verb,
giving serenity,
In reaction form;
Write down without any regrets,
Laments hour by hour,
understanding and apologizing
The afflictions of those who cry;
If you deliver points of view,
What you want or what you think,
Forgetting on the way,
Any kind of offense;
Welcomes the shadow of injury
That the road unworthy of you,
Offering for answer,
