Se nos propomos retratar mentalmente a luz dos Planos Superiores, é indispensável que a nossa vontade abrace espontaneamente o trabalho por alimento de cada dia.

No pretérito, apreciávamo-lo por atitude servil de quantos caíssem sob o ferrete da injúria.

A escola, as artes, as virtudes domésticas, a indústria e o amanho do solo eram relegados a mãos escravas, reservando-se os braços supostos livres para a inércia dourada.

Hoje, porém, sabemos que a lei do trabalho é roteiro da justa emancipação. Sem ela, o mundo mental dorme estanque. Fugir-lhe aos impositivos é situar-se à margem do caminho, onde o carro da evolução marcha, inflexível, deixando à retaguarda quantos se amolgam à ilusão da preguiça.

O usurário não padece apenas a infelicidade de sequestrar os bens devidos ao Bem de Todos, mas igualmente o infortúnio de erguer para si mesmo a cova adornada em que se lhe estiolarão as mais nobres faculdades do espírito.

Não vale, contudo, agir por agir.

As regiões infernais vibram repletas de movimento.

Além do trabalho-obrigação que nos remunera de pronto, é necessário nos atenhamos ao prazer de servir.

Nas contingências naturais do desenvolvimento terrestre, o espírito encarnado é compelido a esforço incessante, para o sustento do corpo físico.

Recolhe, de graça, a água pura, os princípios solares e os recursos nutrientes da atmosfera; entretanto, é preciso suar e sofrer em busca da proteína e do carboidrato que lhe assegurem a euforia orgânica.

Cativo, embora, às injunções do plano de obscura matéria em que transitoriamente respira, pode, porém, desde a Terra, fruir a ventura do serviço voluntário aos semelhantes todo aquele que descerre o espelho da própria alma aos reflexos da Esfera Divina.

O trabalho-ação transforma o ambiente.

O trabalho-serviço, transforma o homem.

As tarefas remuneradas conquistam o agradecimento de quem lhes recebe o concurso, mas permanecem adstritas ao mundo, nas linhas da troca vulgar.

A prestação de concurso espontâneo, sem qualquer base de recompensa, desdobra a influência da Bondade Celestial que a todos nos ampara sem pagamento.

A maneira que se nos alonga a ascensão, entendemos com mais clareza a necessidade de trabalhar por amor de servir.

Quando começamos a ajudar o próximo, sem aguilhões, matriculamo-nos no acrisolamento da própria alma, entrando em sintonia com a Vida Abundante.

Nos círculos mais elevados do espírito, o trabalho não é imposto. A criatura consciente da verdade compreende que a ação no bem é ajustamento às Leis de Deus e a ela se rende por livre vontade.

Por isso, nos domínios superiores, quem serve avança para os cimos da
imortalidade radiosa, reproduzindo dentro de si mesmo as maravilhas do Céu que nos rodeia a espelhar-se por toda parte.

It collects, for free, pure water, solar principles and nutrient resources from the atmosphere; however, you have to sweat and suffer in search of the protein and carbohydrate that will ensure you organic euphoria.

Captive, although, to the injunctions of the dark plane of matter in which he transiently breathes, however, from Earth, anyone who opens the mirror of his own soul to the reflections of the Divine Sphere can enjoy the bliss of voluntary service to his fellow men.

Action-work transforms the environment.

The work-service transforms the man.

Paid tasks earn the thanks of those who receive the contest, but remain attached to the world, along the lines of vulgar exchange.

The provision of a spontaneous contest, without any basis of reward, unfolds the influence of the Celestial Goodness that supports us all without payment.

The way our ascension is extended, we understand more clearly the need to work for the sake of serving.

When we begin to help others, without any stings, we enroll in the refinement of our own soul, getting in tune with the Abundant Life.

In the higher circles of the spirit, work is not imposed. The creature conscious of the truth understands that the action in the good is adjustment to the Laws of God and surrenders to it by free will.

Therefore, in the higher domains, those who serve advance to the heights of the
radiant immortality, reproducing within itself the wonders of Heaven that surrounds us, mirroring itself everywhere.
