“Aquele, porém, que atenta bem para a lei perfeita da liberdade e nisso persevera, não sendo ouvinte esquecido, mas fazedor da obra, esse tal será bem-aventurado em seus feitos.” Tiago, 1:25.
O discípulo da Boa Nova, que realmente comunga com o Mestre, antes de tudo compreende as obrigações que lhe estão afetas e rende sincero culto à lei de liberdade, ciente de que ele mesmo recolherá nas leiras do mundo o que houver semeado. Sabe que o juiz dará conta do tribunal, que o administrador responderá pela mordomia e que o servo se fará responsabilizado pelo trabalho que lhe foi conferido. E, respeitando cada tarefeiro do progresso e da ordem, da luz e do bem, no lugar que lhe é próprio, persevera no aproveitamento das possibilidades que recebeu da Providência Divina, atencioso para com as lições da verdade e aplicado às boas obras de que se sente encarregado pelos Poderes Superiores da Terra.
Caracterizando-se por semelhante atitude, o colaborador do Cristo, seja estadista ou varredor, está integrado com o dever que lhe cabe, na posição de agir e servir, tão naturalmente quanto comunga com o oxigênio no ato de respirar.
Se dirige, não espera que outros lhe recordem os empreendimentos que lhe competem.
Se obedece, não reclama instruções reiteradas, quanto às atribuições que lhe são deferidas na disposição regimental dos trabalhos de qualquer natureza. Não exige que o governo do seu distrito lhe mande adubar a horta, nem aguarda decretos para instruir-se ou melhorar-se.
Fortalecendo a sua própria liberdade de aprender, aprimorar-se e ajudar a todos, através da inteira consagração aos nobres deveres que o mundo lhe confere, faz-se bem-aventurado em todas as suas ações, que passam a produzir vantagens substanciais na prosperidade e elevação da vida comum.
Semelhante seguidor do Evangelho, de aprendiz do Mestre passa à categoria dos obreiros atentos, penetrando em glorioso silêncio nas reservas sublimes do Celeste Apostolado.

“But whoever looks carefully into the perfect law of liberty and continues therein, not being a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” James, 1:25.
The disciple of the Good News, who really commune with the Master, first of all understands the obligations that are assigned to him and renders sincere worship to the law of freedom, aware that he himself will collect in the fields of the world what he has sown. He knows that the judge will take care of the court, that the administrator will answer for the stewardship and that the servant will be responsible for the work that has been given to him. And, respecting each worker of progress and order, of light and of good, in the place that is proper to him, he perseveres in taking advantage of the possibilities he received from Divine Providence, attentive to the lessons of truth and applied to the good works of which he feels in charge of the Higher Powers of Earth.
Characterized by such an attitude, the collaborator of Christ, whether statesman or sweeper, is integrated with his duty, in the position of acting and serving, as naturally as he communes with oxygen in the act of breathing.
If he directs, he does not expect others to remind him of his undertakings.
If he obeys, he does not demand repeated instructions regarding the attributions that are deferred to him in the regimental disposition of works of any nature. He does not demand that the government of his district order him to fertilize the garden, nor does he wait for decrees to educate or improve himself.
Strengthening his own freedom to learn, improve himself and help everyone, through the entire consecration to the noble duties that the world gives him, he becomes blessed in all his actions, which start to produce substantial advantages in prosperity and elevation of common life.
Such a follower of the Gospel, from being an apprentice of the Master, passes to the category of attentive workers, penetrating in glorious silence into the sublime reserves of the Celestial Apostolate.
