“Espírita” deve ser a tua conduta, ainda mesmo que estejas em duras experiências.
“Espírita” deve ser o nome de teu nome, ainda mesmo respires em aflitivos combates contigo mesmo.
“Espírita” deve ser o claro adjetivo de tua instituição, ainda mesmo que, por isso, te faltem as passageiras subvenções e honrarias terrestres.
Doutrina Espírita quer dizer Doutrina do Cristo. E a Doutrina do Cristo é a doutrina do aperfeiçoamento moral em todos os mundos.
Guarda-a, pois, na existência, como sendo a tua responsabilidade mais alta, porque dia virá em que serás naturalmente convidado a prestar-lhe contas.

“Spiritist” must be the name of your name, even though you breathe in agonizing battles with yourself.
“Spiritist” must be the clear adjective of your institution, even if, for this reason, you lack temporary grants and earthly honors.
Spiritist Doctrine means Doctrine of Christ. And the Doctrine of Christ is the doctrine of moral improvement in all worlds.
Keep it, therefore, in existence, as your highest responsibility, because the day will come when you will naturally be invited to account for it.
