Para encontrar o bem e lhe assimilar a luz, não basta lhe admitir a existência. É indispensável buscá-lo com perseverança e fervor.
Ninguém pode duvidar da eletricidade, mas para que a lâmpada nos ilumine o aposento recorremos a fios condutores que lhe transportem a força, desde a aparelhagem da usina distante até o recesso de nossa casa.
A fotografia é hoje fenômeno corriqueiro; contudo, para que a imagem se fixe, na execução do retrato, é preciso que a emulsão gelatinosa sensibilize a placa que a recebe.
A voz humana, através da radiofonia, é transmitida de um continente a outro, com absoluta fidelidade; todavia, não prescinde do remoinho eletrônico que, devidamente disciplinado, lhe transporta as ondulações.
Não podemos, desse modo, plasmar realização alguma sem atitude positiva de confiança.
Entretanto, como exprimir a fé? — indaga-se muitas vezes.
A fé não encontra definição no vocabulário vulgar.
É força que nasce com a própria alma, certeza instintiva na Sabedoria de Deus que é a sabedoria da própria vida. Palpita em todos os seres, vibra em todas as coisas. Mostra-se no cristal fraturado que se recompõe, humilde, e revela-se na árvore decepada que se refaz, gradativamente, entregando-se às leis de renovação que abarcam a Natureza.
Todas as operações da existência se desenvolvem, de algum modo, sob a energia da fé.
Confia o campo no vigor da primavera e cobre-se de flores.
Fia-se o rio na realidade da fonte, e dela não prescinde para a sua caudal larga e profunda.
A simples refeição é, para o homem, espontâneo ato de fé. Alimentando-se, confia ele nas vísceras abdominais que não vê.
Todo o êxito da experiência social resulta da fé que a comunidade empenhe no respeito às determinações de ordem legal que lhe regem a vida.
Utilizando-nos conscientemente de semelhante energia, é-nos possível suprimir longas curvas em nosso caminho de evolução.
Para isso, seja qual for a nossa interpretação religiosa da ideia de Deus, é imprescindível acentuar em nós a confiança no bem para refletir-lhe a grandeza.
Recordemos a lente e o Sol. O astro do dia distribui equitativamente os recursos de que dispõe. Convergindo-lhe porém, os raios com a lente comum, dele auferimos poder mais amplo.
O Bem Eterno é a mesma luz para todos, mas concentrando-lhe a força em nós, por intermédio de positiva segurança íntima, decerto com mais eficiência lhe retrataremos a glória.
Busquemo-lo, pois, infatigavelmente, sem nos determos no mal.
O tronco podado oferece frutos iguais àqueles que produzia antes do golpe que o mutilou.
A fonte alcança o rio, desfazendo no próprio seio a lama que lhe atiram.
Sustentemos o coração nas águas-vivas do bem inexaurível.
Procuremos a boa parte das criaturas, das coisas e dos sucessos que nos cruzem a lide cotidiana. Teremos, assim, o espelho de nossa mente voltado para o bem, incorporando-lhe os tesouros eternos, e a felicidade que nasce da fé, generosa e operante, libertar-nos-á dos grilhões de todo o mal, de vez que o bem, constante e puro, terá encontrado em nós seguro refletor.

To find the good and assimilate its light, it is not enough to admit its existence. It is indispensable to seek it with perseverance and fervor.
No one can doubt electricity, but in order for the lamp to light up the room, we resort to conductive wires that carry its power, from the apparatus of the distant power plant to the recess of our house.
Photography is now a commonplace phenomenon; however, for the image to be fixed, in the execution of the portrait, it is necessary that the gelatinous emulsion sensitize the plate that receives it.
The human voice, through radiophony, is transmitted from one continent to another, with absolute fidelity; however, it does not dispense with the electronic whirlpool that, duly disciplined, transports its ripples.
We cannot, therefore, shape any achievement without a positive attitude of trust.
However, how to express faith? — is often asked.
Faith finds no definition in vulgar vocabulary.
It is strength that is born with one’s own soul, instinctive certainty in the Wisdom of God which is the wisdom of life itself. Palpitates in all beings, vibrates in all things. It shows itself in the fractured crystal that recomposes itself, humbly, and it reveals itself in the severed tree that gradually rebuilds itself, surrendering to the laws of renewal that encompass Nature.
All operations of existence develop, in some way, under the energy of faith.
Trust the field in the vigor of spring and cover yourself with flowers.
The river relies on the reality of the source, and it does not do without it for its wide and deep flow.
A simple meal is, for man, a spontaneous act of faith. Feeding itself, it trusts the abdominal viscera that it does not see.
All the success of the social experience results from the faith that the community commits to respecting the legal determinations that govern its life.
Consciously using such energy, it is possible for us to suppress long curves in our path of evolution.
For this, whatever our religious interpretation of the idea of God, it is essential to accentuate our trust in goodness in order to reflect its greatness.
Remember the lens and the Sun. The star of the day equitably distributes the resources available to him. However, by converging the rays with the common lens, we derive greater power from it.
The Eternal Good is the same light for everyone, but by concentrating its strength in us, through positive inner security, we will certainly more efficiently portray its glory.
Let us therefore seek it untiringly, without dwelling on evil.
The pruned trunk bears fruits equal to those it produced before the blow that mutilated it.
The source reaches the river, undoing in its own bosom the mud that is thrown at it.
Let us sustain the heart in the living waters of inexhaustible good.
Let us look for most of the creatures, things and events that cross our daily lives. We will thus have the mirror of our mind turned towards good, incorporating eternal treasures, and the happiness that is born from faith, generous and active, will free us from the shackles of all evil, since good , constant and pure, will have found a safe reflector in us.
