A bênção do trabalho / The blessing of work

É pela bênção do trabalho que podemos esquecer os pensamentos que nos perturbam, olvidar os assuntos amargos, servindo ao próximo, no enriquecimento de nós mesmos.
Com o trabalho, melhoramos nossa casa e engrandecemos o trecho de terra onde a Providência Divina nos situou.
Ocupando a mente, o coração e os braços nas tarefas do bem, exemplificamos a verdadeira fraternidade, e adquirimos o tesouro da simpatia, com o qual angariaremos o respeito e a cooperação dos outros.
Quem não sabe ser útil não corresponde à Bondade do Céu, não atende aos seus justos deveres para com a Humanidade nem retribui a dignidade da pátria amorosa que lhe serve de Mãe.
O trabalho é uma instituição de Deus.

It is through the blessing of work that we can forget troublesome thoughts, forget bitter matters, serving others, enriching ourselves.
With work, we improved our house and enlarged the stretch of land where Divine Providence placed us.
By occupying the mind, heart and arms in the tasks of good, we exemplify true fraternity, and acquire the treasure of sympathy, with which we will gain the respect and cooperation of others.
Those who do not know how to be useful do not correspond to the Kindness of Heaven, do not fulfill their just duties towards Humanity or reciprocate the dignity of the loving homeland that serves as their Mother.
