Não será a Terra comparável a grande carro cósmico, onde se encontra o espírito em viagem educativa?
Se a criatura permanece na abastança material, apenas excursiona em aposentos mais confortáveis.
Se respira na pobreza, viaja igualmente com vistas ao mesmo destino, apesar da condição de segunda classe transitória.
Se apresenta notável figuração física, somente enverga efêmera vestidura de aspecto mais agradável, através de curto tempo, na jornada empreendida.
Se exibe traços menos belos ou caracterizados de evidentes imperfeições, vale-se de indumentária tão passageira quanto a mais linda roupagem do próximo, na peregrinação em curso.
Por mais que o impulso de propriedade ateie fogueiras de perturbações e discórdias, na maquinaria do mundo, a realidade é que homem algum possui no chão do Planeta domicílio permanente. Todos os patrimônios materiais a que se atira, ávido de possuir, se desgastam e transformam. Nos bens que incorpora ao seu nome, até o corpo que julga exclusivamente seu, ocorrem modificações cada dia, impelindo-o a renovar-se e melhorar-se para a eternidade.
Se não estás cego, pois, para as leis da vida, se já despertaste para o entendimento superior, examina, a tempo, onde te deixará, provisoriamente, o comboio da experiência humana, nas súbitas paradas da morte.

All the material patrimonies to which one throws oneself, eager to possess, wear out and transform.
