Fenômenos mediúnicos existem na gênese de todas as religiões, mas desaparecem, à maneira de fogo-fátuo, no raio circunscrito da hora em que se exprimem. Contudo, os livros que nascem deles permanecem, por tempo indeterminado, nos horizontes do espírito.
Há quem sorria ironicamente, diante da narrativa hindu, na qual Arjuna, espantado, observa as sublimes manifestações de Crisna; entretanto, nos poemas do Bagavat-Gitá palpitam cânticos imperecíveis das mais altas virtudes.
Há quem descreia da História, quando afirma que Zoroastro recolheu ensinamentos de Ormuzd (Espírito), nas eminências do Albordjeh; no entanto, as páginas do Zend-Avesta gravam com mestria a luta do bem contra o mal.
Há quem discuta a impossibilidade de haver Moisés revelado tantos poderes, à frente dos egípcios assombrados, mas o código de mandamentos por ele recebido de Jeová, no cimo do monte, é seguro alicerce aos preceitos essenciais da justiça.
Há quem veja loucura na decisão de Sidarta, ao abandonar o palácio paterno, sob a inspiração da Esfera Superior, a fim de consagrar-se aos infelizes; todavia, as lições guardadas por seus discípulos formam o venerável caminho budista do pensamento reto.
Há quem duvide dos fatos admiráveis que cercaram, na Terra, a presença do Cristo, relacionando acontecimentos medianímicos cuja legitimidade desafia todas as exigências da metapsíquica e da parapsicologia contemporâneas; entretanto, o Evangelho continua sendo o Livro Divino da Humanidade.
E, ainda hoje, há quem lance sarcasmo sobre os médiuns da atualidade, mas os livros basilares de Allan Kardec prosseguem como sólidos fundamentos da Doutrina Espírita, que atualiza agora as revelações do Mestre dos mestres.
Como é fácil observar, os fenômenos mediúnicos representam a ostreira das interrogações e dos experimentos humanos. O livro edificante, contudo, é a pérola que passa a guarnecer o tesouro crescente da sabedoria que nunca morre.
Eduquemos, assim, a mediunidade, entre nós, para que ela possa surpreender e fixar a emoção e a ideia, a palavra e o trabalho dos mensageiros que supervisionam e conduzem o aperfeiçoamento terrestre, porque, em verdade, nesse ou naquele documentário, o livro é o comando mágico das multidões e só o livro nobre, que esclarece a inteligência e ilumina a razão, será capaz de vencer as trevas do mundo.

There are those who see madness in Siddhartha’s decision to abandon his father’s palace, under the inspiration of the Upper Sphere, in order to consecrate himself to the unfortunate; however, the lessons learned by his disciples form the venerable Buddhist path of right thinking.
There are those who doubt the admirable facts that surrounded the presence of Christ on Earth, relating medianimic events whose legitimacy defies all the demands of contemporary metapsychology and parapsychology; however, the Gospel remains the Divine Book of Humanity.
And, even today, there are those who hurl sarcasm at the mediums of today, but the basic books of Allan Kardec continue as solid foundations of the Spiritist Doctrine, which now updates the revelations of the Mestre dos mestres.
As it is easy to see, mediumistic phenomena represent the oyster of human interrogations and experiments. The uplifting book, however, is the pearl that goes on to garnish the growing treasure of wisdom that never dies.
Let us, therefore, educate mediumship, among ourselves, so that it can surprise and fix the emotion and the idea, the word and the work of the messengers who supervise and lead the terrestrial improvement, because, in truth, in this or that documentary, the book it is the magic command of the multitudes and only the noble book, which enlightens intelligence and enlightens reason, will be able to overcome the darkness of the world.
