Trazes contigo a flama do ideal superior e anelas concretizar os grandes sonhos de que te nutres, mas, diante da realidade terrestre, costumas dizer que a dificuldade é invencível.
Afirmas haver encontrado incompreensões e revezes, entraves e dissabores, por toda parte, no entanto…
O pão que consomes é o resumo de numerosas obrigações que começaram no cultivo do solo; a vestimenta que te agasalha é o remate de longas tarefas iniciadas de longe com o preparo do fio; o lar que te acolhe foi argamassado com o suor dos que se uniram ao levantá-lo; a escola que te revela a cultura guarda a renunciação de quantos se consagram ao ministério do ensino; o livro que te instrui custou a vigília dos que sofreram para fixar, em caracteres humanos, o clarão das ideias nobres; a oficina que te assegura a subsistência encerra o concurso dos seareiros do bem, a favor do progresso; o remédio que te alivia é o produto das atividades conjugadas de muita gente.
Animais que te auxiliam, fontes que te refrigeram, vegetais que te abençoam e objetos que te atendem, submetem-se a constantes adaptações e readaptações para que te possam servir.
Se aspiras, desse modo, à realização do teu alto destino, não desdenhes lutar, a fim de obtê-lo.
Na forja da vida, nada se faz sem trabalho e nada se consegue de bom sem apoio no próprio sacrifício.
Se queres, na sombra do vale, exaltar o tope do monte, basta contemplar-lhe a grandeza, mas se te dispões a comungar-lhe o fulgor solar na beleza do cimo, será preciso usar a cabeça que carregas nos ombros, sentir com a própria alma, mover os pés em que te susténs e agir com as próprias mãos.

You claim to have encountered misunderstandings and setbacks, obstacles and discomforts everywhere, however…
The bread you consume is the summary of numerous obligations that began in the cultivation of the soil; the garment that wraps you up is the end of long tasks started from afar with the preparation of the yarn; the home that welcomes you was plastered with the sweat of those who joined in raising it; the school that reveals culture to you guards the renunciation of those who dedicate themselves to the ministry of education; the book that instructs you cost the vigil of those who suffered to fix, in human characters, the brightness of noble ideas; the workshop that ensures your subsistence ends the contest of the good seareiros, in favor of progress; the medicine that relieves you is the product of the combined activities of many people.
Animals that help you, sources that cool you, vegetables that bless you and objects that serve you, undergo constant adaptations and readaptations so that they can serve you.
If you thus aspire to the realization of your high destiny, do not disdain to fight in order to obtain it.
In the forge of life, nothing is done without work and nothing good is achieved without the support of sacrifice itself.
If you want, in the shadow of the valley, to exalt the top of the mountain, it is enough to contemplate its grandeur, but if you are willing to share the sun’s radiance in the beauty of the summit, you will have to use the head that you carry on your shoulders, feel with your own soul, move the feet on which you stand and act with your own hands.
