Consciência individual – eis o oráculo do bom senso ante a justiça inseduzível de Deus.
Não nos satisfaça atender simplesmente aos nossos deveres, porém, que abracemos espontaneamente a obrigação de cumpri-los com êxito.
Não descreias de tua força interior.
Não te sintas incapaz, porque tanto estás habilitado a fazer o mal quanto o bem, lembrando que a chama da vela tanto pode estar aquecendo e iluminando, quanto incendiando e destruindo…
Sobre a ênfase das palavras cativantes, avança além dos lugares-comuns em torno da beneficência, praticando-a com a precisa fidelidade a ti mesmo.
As Leis do Criador, imutáveis desde o passado sem início até o futuro sem fim, prescrevem o clima do auxílio mútuo por ambiente ideal das almas em qualquer páramo do Universo.
Quem beneficia recebe o maior quinhão do benefício.
Todo supérfluo é retido nos laços do egoísmo ou da ignorância.
Reconheçamos que muita gente renasce de novo para passar a limpo a garatuja dos próprios atos.
Depende de cada um fazer das nuvens de provações, chuvas benfeitoras da vida ou raios destruidores de morte.
Não basta rogar sem méritos do trabalho pessoal, porquanto ninguém transforma as mãos implorantes em gazuas para abrir as portas dos celeiros espirituais.
As lágrimas tanto conseguem exprimir orações quanto blasfêmias.
O silêncio na tarefa mais apagada surge sempre muito mais expressivo que o queixume na inutilidade brilhante.
O raciocínio descobre a vizinhança entre a fé e o entendimento e a distância entre a fé e o fanatismo.
Os homens não são fantoches do destino e sim construtores dele.
Arma-te de confiança e sai de ti mesmo, servindo às vidas em derredor.
O amor é o coração do Evangelho e o Espírito do Espiritismo chama-se caridade.

It does not satisfy us simply to attend to our duties, however, that we spontaneously embrace the obligation to fulfill them successfully.
Do not disbelieve your inner strength.
Do not feel incapable, because you are able to do both evil and good, remembering that the candle flame can be warming and illuminating, as well as igniting and destroying…
On the emphasis of captivating words, advance beyond the commonplaces around beneficence, practicing it with precise fidelity to yourself.
The Laws of the Creator, immutable from the beginningless past to the endless future, prescribe the climate of mutual help for the ideal environment of souls in any paradise in the Universe.
Whoever benefits receives the largest share of the benefit.
Everything superfluous is held back in the snares of selfishness or ignorance.
Let us recognize that many people are reborn again to clean up the scrawl of their own actions.
It is up to each one to make the clouds of trials, showers that benefit life, or the destructive rays of death.
It is not enough to beg without the merits of personal work, because no one turns imploring hands into lockpicks to open the doors of spiritual barns.
Tears can express prayers as well as blasphemies.
