Traduziremos o Evangelho
Em todas as línguas,
Em todas as culturas,
Exaltando-lhe a grandeza,
Destacando-lhe a sublimidade,
Semeando-lhe a poesia,
Comentando-lhe a verdade,
Interpretando-lhe as lições,
Impondo-nos ao raciocínio,
Aprimorando o coração
E reformando a inteligência,
Renovando leis,
Aperfeiçoando costumes
E aclarando caminhos…
Mas, virá o momento em que a Boa Nova deve ser impressa, em nós mesmos,
Nos refolhos da mente,
Nos recessos do peito,
Através das palavras e das ações.
Dos princípios e ideais,
Das aspirações e das esperanças,
Dos gestos e pensamentos.
Porque, em verdade, se o Céu nos permite espalhar-lhe a Divina Mensagem no mundo, um dia, exigirá nos convertamos em traduções vivas do Evangelho na Terra.

We will translate the Gospel
In all languages,
In all cultures,
Exalting his greatness,
Highlighting its sublimity,
Sowing poetry to you,
Telling you the truth,
Interpreting her lessons,
Imposing ourselves to reasoning,
enhancing the heart
And reforming the intelligence,
renewing laws,
perfecting customs
And clearing the way…
But the time will come when the Good News must be imprinted, in ourselves,
In the folds of the mind,
In the recesses of the chest,
Through words and actions.
Of principles and ideals,
Of aspirations and hopes,
Of gestures and thoughts.
Because, in truth, if Heaven allows us to spread the Divine Message to the world, one day it will demand that we become living translations of the Gospel on Earth.
